About Kai

 Kai Wayuu Sanchez-Warner is an eighteen-year-old musician and performer born and raised in New York City. He writes and performs original music, and has been recognized with two national YoungArts awards - a 2026 award With Distinction in Voice / Music Creation, and in 2025 as Singer-Songwriter. 

At the forefront, Kai Wayuu makes alternative rock and pop music, though he experiments with many genres such as R&B, jazz fusion, and blues. 

Kai currently serves as a writer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and engineer for all of his recorded music - playing the guitar, bass, drums, keys, and vocal parts for his original works. At the moment, he's in the process of preparing his debut release.
